Costello-Events > A few festive decorations hung around the bucaroo on our nation's birthday, thanks to Carie who had just returned from the Grand Ole United States of America.
Costello-Events > Fortunately we enlisted the help of some Cameroonians from Kelly's village (Tokombere), where we held our celebration, to kill the two pigs Kelly raised just for this occasion.
Costello-Events > What's better than a freshly smoked pig and some wheelbarrow marinated veggies as the centerpieces of your 4th of July feast!?
Costello-Events > Preparing the side dishes, having a little girl talk, and watching the boys toss the frisbee (not pictured) while waiting for the pig to smoke.
Costello-Events > As always, we're the village freak show, and Cameroonians were just chillin' outside waiting to catch a glimpse of the crazy Nassaras inside Kelly's compound.
Costello-Events > Of course can you blame them? How much more white trash and weird can get than sitting 6-deep in an inflatable pool (for which the water boy had to make numerous trips to the well and then back again) drinking beer and splashing around under the clothesline?
