Costello-Events > A view from the summit of the mountain we climbed. You can see to the left another group of huts.
Costello-Events > The English Club from the Technical High School takes the stage at Bilingual Day. They were singing a song as they entered, which I have video of as well. These are the students with whom we just started working.
Costello-Events > Yeah, my internet connection was soooo sloooow today, so I finally quit trying to load these pics. I will try again in 2 weeks. Sorry! (This is me and Carie at the top of the mountain.)
Costello-Events > Kati, Erin, Mr. Watching, our moto driver (who looked like Ja Rule!), and Mike drinking billi billi, a traditional alcoholic brew, in Mr. Watching's village. That was 9:30 in the morning, by the way!
Costello-Events > We're sitting in the stands at the stadium in Yagoua watching Youth Day. Here is a skit done by a local school with two kids dressed as a bird and an old man while the others sing and dance behind them.
Costello-Events > Erin using the traditional millet grinder (to make flour) in Mr. Watching's village.
Costello-Events > Our friend Bouba (who just got married), Mike, Erin, Mr. Watching, and Ja Rule (I mean our moto driver) in the fields of Bougay with Mr. Watching's family compound behind us.

Costello-Events > The artisans' hotel in Djinglia for Provincial Meeting. So beautiful, serene, and relaxing.
